Does the Builder Board™ Seamer only work with Builder Board™ Tape?
No. The simple design of the Seamer allows you to use just about any tape with a standard size core. It can fit tapes up to 4 inches wide. You can also use it on just about any flat surface that requires seaming. Surface Shields offers several tapes and temporary surface protection options that work great with the Builder Board™ Seamer.
How heavy is the Seamer? Is it hard to transport?
The Builder Board™ Seamer weighs about 10 pounds and is about 46inches tall. It is very easy to transport. In fact, if you are also transporting rolls of Builder Board™; the seamer is designed to fit snuggly inside the core of the roll. It’s prefect for those days where you need as much space on the truck as possible.
